Hi,

I'm looking for help identifying the make and model of any or all of these machines for a project (I'm hoping to find some clearer images of them if possible).

The only info I know is that the photo is from 1976.

Thanks.

Seems to be ...

GE dryer.

Westinghouse dryer.

Whirlpool washer, probably Imperial 70 or Imperial 80.

GE washer.

They look like US machines.  From left to right, looks to me like 1) a GE or Hotpoint dryer 2) a Westinghouse dryer, 3) a Whirlpool washer and 4) possibly a GE washer.   All look to be late 1960s or early 70s models.

Thanks for the really fast replies, didn't expect that.

I will start hunting google images with that info and see if I can find a match.

They are American made I'm sure, specifically the photos were taken in the 'Amityville horror house' basement in 1976.Trying to source as many of the electrics as possible,I did find the exact Kitchen Aid in the second photo (unsure what the machine in the background is if anyone happens to know that? (trash compactor maybe?).

Yes, that's a trash compactor in the second photo (my guess is a Whirlpool) and the dishwasher is dilly - the KitchenAid KDS15.  I have the portable version of this dishwasher and they are amazing performers!!

Thanks again for the help, managed to track down matches for most of these based on the names-some of the google image searches actually lead back to images from here.

Found the Nutone mixer/blender also which I previously thought was just like a vegetable bin type thing or something!.

Very interesting pictures. Here are some more - no GE set in this shot.

These pictures are from the Amityville horror house - they were taken in 1974 after the murders. I thought they looked familiar and went back and did some research and my instinct was correct!

I always believed part of the story was true but I think a lot of it was Hollywood over doing! It is possible to have residual effects especially after a mass murder but it wasn't all true! I did go by the house many years ago and saw nothing unusual but whos to say?? I would not want to live in a place after a mass murder occurred! But everyone is different!

The house actually looks very nice today, there were recent photos showing remodelling. For anyone whose not familiar with the story after the murder some of the furniture and appliances were kept by the new owners.

I've been tracking down specifically the appliances, furniture and air-con from 1976 but some some appear in the earlier crime scene photos also.

The reason for finding out the exact makes is that I'm re-creating the house as it was after the 'haunting' for a game project called 'Amityville '76' (attached work in progress screenshot below).

The basement washers/dryers are one of few things I've yet to tackle so really useful info on them leading to lots of good reference images.A lot of things I found have been from ebay, etsy etc.
