KA KDC-14P DW Welcome To The Site Scott, As far as restoring a DW this old [ 1961-1964 ] it all depends on how big a project you want to get into.
Most parts for the DW are no longer available and if you take it all apart you might really open a can of worms.
Since it is still working I would probably just address the problems that it has one by one.
What ever you decide to do with this machine myself and many others are here to help you along with your project.
PS, I might have a set of SS front panels for this model that I have no use for if you want them.
