Just shop for price, you may get a better price if you agree to pay cash pick up the appliance yourself and possibly install it yourself. Other than that there's not gonna be a lot of difference.
Speed Queen makes an excellent very ruggedly built dryer that it's easy to repair, the Whirlpools are also good dryer's but not nearly as sturdy. I would also consider the Speed Queen dryer with electronic control, the timer on the basic one is kind of funky |

a lot of times, you think your saving on sales tax....
and there are places that if shipped to another state, YOUR state tax will be added to the cost.... we have that here across the border into Delaware.....if your buying some items from someplace like Walmart or ShopRite, its tax free like everyone else..... BUT.....if your buying something like a TV or Dryer, and your name and address is printed on any sort of sales receipt, again YOUR state's sales tax is added.....and especially if your using a Debit/Credit car to purchase...cash sales on something like this is included as well..... the only way around most of it, is if you have a relative living in that state, and they make the purchase for you...... don't be surprised, they are watching for this stuff.... |
