If you look closely at the picture there are two rows of plates, side by side; not plates and saucers, but dinner plates, so there would not be room to the right of a row of dinner plates for any other plates if the plates on the left hand side of the picture were loaded on the right hand side of the lower rack. Now, look to the upper left, just above the second plate. It looks like a screaming stream of water is coming from above the left of the plate. If the spin tube is in between the rows of plates in the middle of the dishwasher as it has to be, that spray is coming from the wrong direction. A lot of the jets of water look like they are splashing off the plates, not spraying down on them. It does not look like they did a very good job of trying to simulate the spray pattern of the spin tube.

Always enjoy seeing unique systems in appliances, especially washers and dishwashers. Having said that, I probably wouldn't want a spin-tube Frigidaire as a daily driver, primarily because of the way it had to be loaded. I'm assuming it probably sounded a little different than impeller- or wash arm-based dishwashers.
