Hi all, My Twin Tub has been running fine, apart from a very insignificant small leak that I have been putting up with. But after replacing the pump belt the other day and then using the machine, It was spinning ok but making a sort of loose slapping noise, is the best I can describe it. I automatically thought it must be to do with the new belt, It also left quite a big leak on the floor. I have opened the machine up the belt was very damp so have dried it, both belts are in place as they should be, but I would say the spin can is slightly looser than maybe it should be. Also the bottom metal disk ,of the spin motor that sits under both belts I can push up and down is this normal. the only other thing is the metal cable that links the spinner lid catch, at the bottom of this cable it meets under the spinner can, this part I can move/twist from side to side, should that be moving. I'm trying to locate anything that might be loose causing the noise, and leak. Any advice would be mush appreciated. Thanks Rebecca.

P.S Just one more thing when spinning after a short while the noise of the motor seemed to slow a bit, as if it was over worked so I would stop it. The noise was worse when there was less clothes in it.
