Am listing in this forum because it is from eBay Germany and thus we on this side of pond cannot act upon.
Still at current exchange rates not sure how many would fork over that much money for one box of detergent, Persil or not. http://www.ebay.de/itm/Museales-Highligh... |

Louis you are correct. Opened my eBay account to "worldwide search" and violia.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Museales-Highlig... Guess this thread must be now moved to Shoppers Square! Still at $431 USD plus $70 USD for shipping am certainly not going to be in the running. Paid far less in total for two crates of vintage Persil and one of Persil 59. Day one admits to spending nearly $500 USD on a packet of detergent is the same one will be taken from here to an other place. There shall remain close confined until it is deemed the madness has been cured. |

There are many things one would want out of Germany that probably would cost $500 in shipping costs (by air or most likely sea freight), and a packet of detergent isn't on that list. *LOL*
It is amazing persons are almost giving away vintage laundry appliances in Germany for often very little money, and this person wants major money for a box of detergent. |

What else could one import from Germany for less than a box of Persil? Possibly a nice brand new Zanussi top loader, and still have change from £500? CLICK HERE TO GO TO nickuk's LINK on eBay |

Lol. Advertisers would never get away with that now, with their sanitised politically correct hooey. |

Is it just me, or do others find advertising of decades ago (50s, 60s, 70s, 80s) a damn sight more appealing than most of today's efforts? |
