One of, if not the most entertaining and interesting washing machine ever made. Apex had a very unique method of washing and seemed to do a decent job of it, in spite of what consumer reports said about it. Watching it operate, it moves the clothes even when no water is in the tub. I can't imagine how things would not get at least somewhat clean with all that movement. It does tend to throw out most of the water by the end of the wash though, but even so I would think it would still wash, rinse and spin out adequately and what a fun machine to watch as it does it! I bet Tide really suds up in that machine too!

If she would move that box of Tide out of the way, she'd find something even more remarkable in the washer's tub: Three miniature women!

As always: The only washer that can roll over a dry load. No smoke 'n' mirrors necessary!

A Calypso or Front Load washer

Will roll over a dry load without filling your underwear with itchy fiberglass fibers, LOL

John-- OK, smart guy; I counter that the terms 'rollover' and 'tumble' imply different actions.😀

As for the Calypso's ability to do so: Cool! Considered getting one when they were introduced, but became skittish over reports of reliability/mechanical problems. Now I wish I would have. A very interesting, fun-to-watch wash action and a great collector's item, to boot.
