It would be nice if you turned your phone so all the pictures were not sideways. I'd like to see all those mixers, just not in a sideways view.

You might try learning how to make the picture show up right side up instead of side ways.

thats quite an impressive collection you have, and very nicely displayed too. Thanks for sharing your photos. You'll get the hang of your new phone, and I didn't have any problem viewing your photos as you posted them.

Nice collection! The Braun is such a beauty! I have one too, but not as good looking as this one. I don't think it's very great for cake batter, but it's wonderful for making bread dough.

Holy cow, Hans; that's quite a collection! I noticed two Kenmore stand mixers, one yellow; one turquoise (photos 1 and 2). I like the stylish, sharp-cornered rectangular housing. I'm assuming they are from the mid 1950s or thereabouts. Who made Kenmore's stand mixers?

Hans, love all of your mixers etc. We have the same RCA Victor radio. I got mine for Christmas of 1967. It works just fine and it is in the kitchen. Gary

Well I'll be!!  A KitchenAid by Hobart hand mixer.  I would have never guessed.  I thought KA had only come up with that idea from when they started selling them in the 1980s or 1990s.  Did they produce them themselves?  Of those 3 toasters on the shelves, do you use any or all of those three--any particular one?  Do you use all those Pyrex measuring cups?  I wish I had that many and variety.  But my husband would shoot me.  (He just doesn't have a clue as to what all is stuffed in the cabinets as it is).  Which photo has that RCA Victor radio?

Nice collection!  I did not realize that the Mixmaster Jr. came in all of those pastels - very neat.  I also love the avocado Constellation and your Hotpoint washer (do you have the matching dryer?)

And, with the 'Ambassador' in the kitchen - one might expect to see an AMC Ambassador (either a DPL or a 990) in the driveway.

Lawrence, yes you can see a little bit of the dryer to the right of the dishwasher in photo 9.  The dishwasher is parked between the washer & dryer.

Re Kitchen Aid and Kenmore

The Kitchen Aid portable is a early 60s glorified Hamilton Beach, The Kenmore mixers were made by either Birtman electric, Prefix 116, or Hamilton Beach, prefix 400, Birtman up until late 1957.This is just whats in the house, there are over 500 more in the basement! LOL

Since I'm a real fan of collections of all sorts, I really enjoyed your photos...regardless it they're upside down, down side up or inside out. Vintage stand mixers are such cool things. Placed on the counter, they have a way of anchoring a kitchen and adding warmth similar to a fireplace in the living room. It must have been fun collecting all those things. If you don't have one of those Swifter dusters on a telescopic handle then add it to your Christmas list. Thanks for sharing.

How not to love the swiffer duster? That thing really works!

Mixers I use

I do not have any new mixers I use a few of the kenmores and westinghouses and the he triple whips I use several kitchen aids. A 3 b 3 c and 4 c as well as a late 70 s k 45 my favorites for cake making are the sunbeams I use the white and chrome 11 and 12 as well as the 50 s kenmores and westinghouses as for portables I rotate them sunbeams are pretty but slow I like westinghouses and the odd ball presto from the 60 s and 70 s. G e portables are great and the kenmores are really good the Braun on the counter is fun odd in a good way I have so many different ones I switch them around often there is a basement full

It's an incredible collection! I had the opportunity to see it in person when we were visiting NC and it just goes on and on! These pictures just scratch the surface! There are so many beauties in that bunch - and I love that Hans also uses them!

Toasters are

Top GE with white trim, middle Yellow trimmed Kenmore from about 53, one of the best I have, its made by Arvin, bottom is a Hamilton Beach, pretty but hangs up and burns the toast, Toasters are one thing I DONT try to work on because I never could figure them out, I probably have 30 or 40 more and at least 150 more portable mixers.

I am always surprised and sometimes overwhelmed at other's collections. Yours is yet another eyepopping collection! I left them in the sockets to be sure to see the other photos. LOL.

Here's a few of your first pics upright for what it's worth. :-) Take care!
