Picked this up today at the flea market. Motor hums but tub does not move. Guess this will be a winter project.

Depending on where the tub is locked in, it will agitate or spin. Neat idea for Easy to get into the small portable washers without a wringer.

Very Cool Ron

This might be the oldest one I have seen, we have two of these, the older one we have as a porcelain [ off white ] outer tub and we also have the later one with an aluminum outer tub.

I guess they built these for quite a few years, unfortunately the motors and transmissions seem to get stiff and several of these I have seen don't want to run unless you take them apart and get every thing loosened up .

Thanks for the info, John. I do have two of the newer versions of these whirldry washers. Hopefully, I can get this one running.

Ron
