It's not a matter of which machine can hold more per load, it's a matter of how much FUN it is to watch... and Frigidaires are fun!!!

Frigidaire had vented dryers before 1961; remember the lint drawer in the POD last week? By 1961, they had introduced gas dryers into the line. |

The design/styling of the '61 pair is excellent. The clamshell-shaped console is gorgeous. The agitators from this era are eye candy, as well. The colorful rings and cap really make it pop. GM spared no expense in design. It seemed as though the line was restyled almost yearly for awhile. Consider the major changes in consoles between 1955-1968, for example.
