Washed some cleaning rags out last night using a bucket and some Tide "Simply Fresh) (no didn't by the stuff, a partially used bottle was gifted to me at Laundromat). Noticed now even a day later the bucket still reeks of the scent and this despite being carefully washed out afterwards.
Know certain liquid detergents leave a whiff on the boot of my Miele or AEG washing machines. This tells me some how rubber, plastic or whatever are affected by these detergents. So wonder if there are any long term issues using liquid detergents in wringer washer? Tend to use liquids in semi-automatics like the Hoover TT because it saves on all the rinsing that comes otherwise with high sudsing powders. |

I've used liquid detergents in my wringer washers and have not noticed any issue or scent remaining after washing. That tide simply fresh is strong on the scent though, I did not use that. |
