I find it strange that the website does not seem to mention what cycles are included on each model. I think I heard in the training video that to get a 'spin only' cycle you would have to go to the mid or top of the line machine. I also like the front load models but it is a shame that SQ is going to stop selling them. Seems like that company is not putting much going forward into home laundry if they are going to limit home laundry to just top loaders. Very sad as I believe it is one of the few companies left that produce a product for durability when from what I have heard and seen from sales and repair people most all other brands now are just throw away models that last maybe 4 to 7 years which is very sad. I personally don't like the SQ website as the pictures are too small and it is not easy to navigate.

I'm waiting for them to upload the manuals for these machines. I personally don't think they are going to stop selling frontloaders, or else they wouldn't have put an updated model on the website. The new models have reversible doors. Ii do wonder, if they are trying to get out of the home market altogether, like they did several years ago after Alliance took them over.

It would be a shame for Speed Queen to get out of home laundry and I have had the same thought that maybe they will since the company puts most emphasis on their commercial machines. In my area every single appliance store that has Speed Queen has told me they sell so well that they can't keep them in stock they just go flying out the door, they are a top seller so with this being said I don't understand why the company does not realize they are getting a good hold on the consumer market and it could be very profitable as well, but probably not so much as their commercial laundry business. They seem to be the only company left that try to produce a product that will LAST.
