During the past 5 years I've gone through two NEW and expensive dishwashers...an LG and a Bosch, both have had major failures that were cost prohibitive to repair. I've been using an older Whirlpool that actually works well, but my dream is to find a vintage KitchenAid. For months i've been looking for a KitchenAid KDS-18 or newer but can't seem to find one... I live in Northern California and have been searching on Craigslist, FB Marketplace and here with no luck. A while ago an AW member from the Bay area had a Stainless Superba for sale, but I can't seem to find the post...probably long gone!

Please let me know if you have any suggestions, or happen to have one for sale!

Thank you :)

Start checking Craigslist for every community within an hours radius, especially old neighborhoods. Some uninformed individual is always throwing out a low mileage appliance to replace it with new junk "just because".

Jeff, what part of Northern California are you in?

I have a KDS-21 Monterey that needs a new wash arm support, and two ISE Classic Supremes (KA clones) in working order, which do everything a KDS-22 does, except for the sani-rinse.  I have one set of stainless panels to fit any of those three machines (currently on one of the Supremes).

Tell me about the Whirlpool you're currently using.  I might be interested in a trade.

Ralph
