I just added two new super cool items to the Ephemera Library if anyone would like a copy. The first is the complete 1963 Frigidaire Appliances Catalog, showing everything Frigidaire marketed in 1963. Refrigerator/Freezers, Ranges, Flair Ranges, Built-in Ranges, Washers, Dryers, Dishwashers, Disposers, Water Heaters and Room Air Conditioners. Full specs are included in table format for each and every model.

The other items is the T-Line 1972 Frigidaire Dishwasher Tech-Talk Service Manual.

One of the great years for FD, unfortunately this is a builder catalog and does not include the beautiful 30 and 40" free standing ranges.

Gotta love GM Frigidaire

This ad seems to be using the same basic set as the cover of the catalog. Frig must have had a talented art director...a lot of appliance copy from this time period was from hunger.

love the branding....

of Frigidaire Fridays! What a great way to end the week (after Maytag Mondays and Whirlpool Wednesdays)

Friday is Frigidaire Friday, and Monday is Maytag Monday, Wednesday is Whirlpool Wednesday.

I wonder what brands Sunday, Tuesday, and Saturday would be.

Couldn’t we alternate with Whirlpool for Wards Wednesdays?! Or better yet, (Wards) Signature Saturdays and Sundays!

If we're going to play this game, it's got to be Philips or Philco Phriday, Siemens Saturday, Servis Sunday and Miele Monday from a British/European perspective... and surely for you chaps it must be Westinghouse Wednesday? If only there was a day of the week that begun with a B, there are LOADS of choices for that...
