Rib Meat Chops or Tenderloin? How much do you really get for what you pay? What about cooking? Under the Broiler? Made it a long time ago & want to try it again...

Make lamp chops all the time

Usually just pop them into broiler, then when just about done add some garlic and then lemon juice.

A few weeks ago did a rub with olive oil, fennel, crushed mint, and some other herbs, and was delicious.

We don't do red meat often, but prefer lamb over say steak.

The small tenderloin chops are just that. You may need to allow for more than one or two per person depending upon their appetite.

Given that my daughter was pointedly not interested, it looks like I just need to buy a small amount for me & maybe my wife...

Like I said I bought some once, and I think my wife made them, as I remember one having a raw portion of one corner, my wife offered to broil again just to cook that one part & the lamb was indeed, boney...

The rib meat doesn't seem as popular as the tenderloin & there is another part of the lamb, that a small amount seems to be available from....

I only looked at my Kroger that I work at--& somehow the organic Simple Truth brand had been going by me all this time, that in the aisle that was all I saw...

Stopped at Save-A-Lot on the way home, where there was no lamb, so I wonder if it's worth it to try Aldi, other wise Walmart (where I used to work at, I know carries it--somehow I'd never bothered doing the "Price-Match Hoax" when I was there) and maybe I'll go to Meijer...
