Looks very clean. What brand is this? Don't recall ever seeing one with this styling.

My knuckles sting just from looking at it

For something so poorly designed, my guess would be "Singenature."

First guess would be Roper, maybe Kenmore branded.  Not far from the Signature level, though.   Gas self-cleaning oven - best installed on the porch.

Definitely a Rattlin' Roper

I wonder if this is one of the early ones with the sealed oven cavity where the products of combustion go around it like in some old water heaters with the Monel tanks.

1971 or '72

Kenmore by Roper. The one I recall had a black glass door and continuous cleaning oven liners, and still had pilot lights.
It was actually quite hefty. This was before range construction got chincy.
The gas valve whistled when cycling the oven, but it baked well my aunt said.
No problems yet when she sold her home in '79.
Following this style, the console had a country kitchen kettle etching on the glass, and no curves on the top front.

Roper Built Gas Self-Cleaning Oven Range

This was the 2nd generation Roper built SCOR, this one had a more conventional design where the combustion products condense on the food you are cooking just like all present gas ovens built today.

"Condensing gas on my food?" (So that's what my "new" gas open has been doing...)

Looks like we're in for another "Thread for the Anti-Gas"...!
