No price listed, but certainly an interesting piece. I would go look at it, but I would get stopped for driving a Chevrolet in Upper St. Clair

HA, Norma Desmond, both the original and Carol are favorites. But ya'll don't know "feeling unwanted" till you pull up to the Ford Rouge Plant in your Honda Accord for a sales promo! |

If you don't drive a Ford, you park at the back of the lot period. Yes, our son had to because he was driving a Chevy when Ford hired him. I wonder if Honda has the same policy at it's plants in Ohio, etc. |

I worked for a company that inspected auto parts, so I went to a lot of Ford, GM and Chrysler plants--and I drove a HONDA CiVIC!
But it was out of respect for priority parking for workers, and me being a contractor that at the American Axel/GM, where long ago my dad once worked, that I parked way out in a contractors lot and I seemed to be the only person who did that so I became even more of an outcast, as that foreign/Non-UAW made vehicle stuck out like a sore thumb! At one place I worked at that did light assembly on headliners for the Pontiac G-6, the boss there actually admired my Honda, and he drove a couple Ford Pick-Ups... Before I even did this job, I think I drove by at least one auto assembly plant that had a sign that pointedly said: NO FOREIGN OR NON-UAW MADE VEHICLES ALLOWED! So little did I know that I seemed to be someone who briefly drove one (not a homemade soap box, either) and I think the only one while I worked for that 3rd party inspection company... -- Dave |

It looks to be well constructed, but rather tired looking. New landscaping and paint would do a lot for the exterior. Redecorating would be of much help to the interior. I would expect such a place to sell for not much over $500,000. |

..., quoted my father starting our 1978 Nova (a leftover bought in '79)...
Who worked like how Johnny Cash did, putting the wheels on those axels, working at AA (American Axel) from late-Fall, 1976 until Dec. of 1979, getting laid off, when there was still a lot of GREAT we could have gotten "one piece at a time"...
