Neat newer model machines

How well did these machines clean? I know they where a nightmare when the broke down and from what I have been told, that was a LOT for these machines.

a simpler question, what couldn't this machine clean?

never thought you could wash paper towels and reuse them, guess again!...

puts any other HE TLer to shame....

could be just my own opinion, but its a fool proof machine, if you think the Normal cycle is efficient and effective.....I have never found one thing this machine can't handle with ease....with minimal water and detergent

the Gentle/Handwash programs has to be one of the best care you have ever seen...

you really have to experience one for yourself....

I am amused by those tray things people like to put under the washers. How many gallons of water do people think these will retain? If a tub to pump hose goes, its going to be a flood anyway!
If it doesn't fit they can interfere with belts underneath and overall balance.

$200 for a machine that Martin says is a top cleaner seems a fairly decent deal.
I have an 11+ year-old LG Tromm FL machine on Craig's for the same and had a buyer right away.
Unfortunately despite washing the test Load with easy it failed to spin. Right now everything seems to point to the MAIN CONTROL BOARD. The back panel is a little dented and I have read that can lead to the dreaded "UE" error code I am getting with or without any cloths in it. I will straighten it tomorrow and find out for sure, but my money is on the board being the problem. A used board can be had for $50, and I paid $50 for the machine not knowing if it had a problem or not. Decisions, decisions...in the meantime my buyer found a different machine.

So much has been written about the Calypso washer and dryers and it's all about personal preferences.
They aren't the biggest for doing large comforters(king/ca.king), but they are versatile and as Martin said,
you can wash a paper towel with Gentle/Hand Wash to reuse over and over. LOL! Seriously, that Gentle / Hand Wash cycle is really great.

Funny you should mention paper towels. While i usually check pockets while when i do laundry sometimes my husband will leave snotrags in his pockets. I unfortunately have done the same thing. After several washes in our Bosch Nexxt and Vision machines the paper towels come out in one piece and are just fine. I never would have thought.....
