Hello, ALL ............

 

Our 2-year old 92 series is making a new clicking sound.

 

Also, if you look closely, seems like dark colored fibers are starting to build up on the bottom floor of the cabinet.

 

Wondering if it's the belt?   Thanks for your help!

its a belt/clutch design....I would be concerned if you DIDN'T see any sort of belt dust...

I would also pull the pump, just to rule out that the noise is not coming from there...

not uncommon to hear tapping from an all metal transmission...you wouldn't have those issues from a plastic/nylon gear transmission, or a direct drive impellor machine..
