While many of you seem to already be biased against Jaykay18's videos, this is interesting for the data it generates in wattage readings and if you subtract the initial KW/h reading you could figure out the electricity used per cycle.

It's interesting to see the watts used/amps drawn at various stages of the cycle. Would love to see the same test done on a washer from the redesigned 2018 line. Thanks for the link, Ken.

I wish the tub on my 9 series would stop indexing nearly a quarter of a turn with each oscillation of the agitator. The machine shown in this video---which doesn't index---rolls a load over far more efficiently. Seven months washing 5-7 loads per week and it still indexes as much as the day I bought it.

Hi Eugene, I am sure that the new SQ TL machines will use less that 1/3 the electricity per load, about your tub indexing, you may want to take the front off your machine and use some brake cleaner on the brake pads and wipe off the excess oil etc, this should help the indexing a lot. You may be able to get the dealer to do this under warranty, however in order for the dealer to get paid they may just replace the pads under warranty.
