Saw this at an antique shop in IL today.
Figured it would tickle your fancies.

I wanted one of these until I found out that it would thrash all over my patio if the spinner was even slightly out of balance.

Grandma's never thrashed across the basement concrete, not like the slant Westy at home did on occasion.  Hers was very similar model but without the timer, closer to BOL.

John, You need this washer. I bet you can get it for a song. I have one in the basement and washes up a storm. Illinois here too by the way, Gary

Cannot recall if it was Easy

But one maker of these twin tubs sold little blocks/feet one could place at bottom of legs to keep washer from moving about.

IIRC one of the few quibbles CR had at the time was tendency for Easy and perhaps other twin tub washers to go walkabout during spinning.

Not that it CAN'T go unbalanced, but you're standing right there and you can tell to stop and redistribute before it 'travels'.  So a relative non-issue.

That's a mid-to-late 40's model, probably a '48, but to tell you the truth, in my many decades of Easy usage, I've never seen one walk about. I'll see what I can do, (smile).
