Thanks John. Is this the shaft seal? Do I need to remove the motor to replace the seal? I've never done this before.

You are almost there, the shaft seal is pressed into the SS part that spins [ drain impeller ] remove the SS plate over this part by removing the remaining screw and then the drain impeller can be pried off the shaft, you can either try to find the impeller and seal kit or just replace the rubber and carbon seal that is pressed into this impeller.
