This is down the hill in Oakmont at a charity store. I have no room for it, it deserves better transport than on it's side in the Traverse, and don't have $ 500 sitting around...other than that, it's Perfect!

That’s a beautiful Westinghouse range, but its not a 1952 model, I believe it’s a 55’ or a 55’. Looks like its never been used. It also has the colored lights under each burner control so you know at a glance what temp you have the control set at. I really love these old Westinghouse ranges and ovens, I think they are the best ever. I sure hope it goes to a home that will appreciate it!

I'm sure it found a loving home for the next 50 years at the very least.

So would these Westies be considered the range versions of "frog eye" models?

That's a nice looking one! The Imperial 30 was introduced for the 1953 model year, and the same basic cabinet design used through the 1957 models, with changes made to the control panel each year. Lemon Yellow and the other colors were introduced on the 1955 models. I have one from the first year, and the clock is in the center, with the oven control to the left, and the minute timer on the right.

Its a 'Confection Color' as they were called

That is a beautiful range... I think yellow is such a sunny warm color for a kitchen, it just has to put you in a good mood in your kitchen on any day in any weather!

They actually made some that were two-toned confection, yellow and green. A rare option indeed, but I have seen a couple like that.

I hope the new owner gives this range a good home and enjoys it!
