This is a Waste King. We had one for 21 years, and my aunt had one for 29. Not sure how long hers actually lasted, as it was left behind when she sold her house. | ||

Worth $20 only for entertainment value.
Kelly Ridge is a community of mainly modular homes inhabited by retired couples or remaining halves of them. Many of the properties offer lake (Oroville) views from safely above dam level. Dave's parents moved up there in the late '80s but after about a dozen or so years relocated to suburban Sacramento to be closer to full-service hospitals.
KR is in Butte County, which is anything but beaut county. Chico, pop. 91,000, is the major urban center and has an actual shopping mall. Herb Caen once wrote that Chico is where you'll find Velveeta in the grocery store's gourmet section. | ||
