the only reason I remember the exact do I got it is because it was the day before my birthday. So let's see. They are 13 today. I believe the 2nd year was when it had the CCU board replaced... Since then no issues at all (over a decade). The dryer has never had a single repair, but it has squeaks until warmed up. Never any mold and still smells and looks spotless inside. I hope the continue going strong for a few more years - that might be pushing it though.
Oh - the hoses have never been changed, but I always turn off hot/cold when done.

I just took my 16 year old Duets out of service only because a customer of mine who I sold a top of the line Duet pair 2 years ago contacted me to say she was getting a divorce and was moving and couldn't take her $2500 washer and dryer with her, if I knew anyone who wanted to buy them. I offered her $500 for the pair, she was happy and so was I. My old machines still work great, I am trying to sell them or give them away to someone who needs them. My bearings in the washer were never changed and it still sounds great when it spins. Over the years I changed the CCU, pump, bellows and an internal drain hose. The dryer needed a thermistor and gas coils at one time, other than that they have served a family of 5 well since 2002.

Very nice!

These appear to be in great shape, Mark! Mine have been flawless as well! Our 1 year old dryer squeaks a bit as well. Of course, it has the ubiquitous Whirlpool dryer thump as well. They are great machines, and it appears you will get quite a bit more use out of yours! Happy early birthday!
