Hope someone here gets it. Wonder what it'll ultimately go for? Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Ooooh, it has the lint storage bag!    But correct me if I'm wrong (and I usually am...) wouldn't the model number indicate this is a '59 model?  59 or 60, it's a beauty!!

1959 Lady Kenmore electric dryer. Over the last few years a surprising amount of these have popped up.

I'm almost sure the cabinet was restyled for the '60 model; more squared off very similar to the current models.

Love the buttonology on that unit. What more could you need? Ok, maybe a timer? And I also like the chrome badge with the lady's head. Almost reminds me of an ancient Egyptian funerary motif.

Appliances back then had true personality, I suppose because they were prized possessions recently made available that saved you from a life of drudgery. I'd say that's worthy of Queen Nefertiti status.

Did not get the squared off cabinets till 1961.

Interestingly WP W&Ds got the squared off cabinets with their 1957 models.

Saw the matching washer to that years ago, in a scrapyard. A tree fell on it,

Interesting, that this dryer is either 6000 or 8000 watts of heating according to how it is wired up.
