Hi Everyone,

I just got that yellow GE Wonder Kitchen.

I am using all turquoise appliances, and

unfortunately a Caloric wall oven I have

is too big for the cabinet.

I am looking for a Turquoise Door to put

on an Early 60's Square Single GE P7 Wall

oven, that I have.

Or, the complete Turquoise Fascia and Door,

as seen on the Earlier Rounded GE Wall oven

(attached), to swap with the fascia/door of the

same oven, which I have in Yellow.

I would buy the Turquoise oven complete, but

I am overloaded with too many ovens, as it

is, shipping is too expensive and I don't need

another one hanging around.

Also, willing to Trade my Same Yellow oven

for a Turquoise one, like below, or trade a Square

Yellow P7 Oven door for a Turquoise one.

I hope this makes sense.  I'm at work and took a

quick minute to post this.  I Def Hope someone

may have, or know how to get, what I need.

Thanks again, Everyone.

Best washes,

Louis

From what I remember from the GE wall oven parts sheets I have, the door panels are different on the P*7 models than on the standard ovens.

I am also unaware that the earlier (pre '59) model oven door/surround would fit the later versions, whether standard or P*7.

GE P-7 SC Wall Ovens

Did not come out till 1965, and there were very few sold in yellow, pink or turquoise, also do you need a 24" or 27"oven, once they came out with the P-7 ovens they interceded the 24" size.

I may not have used correct Terminology....

Thanks for your responses, Guys.

Maybe I'm using P-7 as an incorrect reference.

I have a 24" Ge Square Wall Oven, where the color is only painted

on the door / Yellow -- See Pic below.

And, I have a Pre '59 GE 24"  Wall Oven that has a Yellow surround

and door, like that of the pic of a turquoise one, initially attached.

My problem is, I want a Turquoise oven.  If I could get a 24" Square

Wall oven Door in Turquoise I would use that oven.

Or, if I could get a Turquoise Surround and Door for the Pre '59,

I would change out the yellow surround and door on my oven,

and use that one instead.

I am definitely not trying to cross one with the other.  I know they

are 2 completely different units.

Again, my apologies for lack of correct model #'s, etc.  Any help

in finding the respective Turquoise door/surround for either of these,

would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again.

GE Wall Ovens

Hi Louis, the ovens you are picturing are all 27" ovens, GE did not make 24" wall ovens till the mid 60s, A 27" oven fits into a 27" wide cabinet, the oven and door itself are closer to 24", but they are sized by the cabinets they fit into.

Hope this helps, john L.

THANKS JOHN. THAT DOES HELP...

The 24" measurement I took from the oven.

The opening is 27"  Hope I'll be able to find something.

Thank you again.
