I thought you folks would enjoy seeing a 1962 A101 I had that I sold in 2006 to a collector 30 mins away. Not sure he still has it. It was mint. Wish I kept it.

That totally matches the dryer we had when I was growing up! That dial is somewhat unique...you don’t see those very often. Apparently our dryer was a joint purchase in the mid-50s among a couple of the other neighbors and my parents who would do their wash, then bring their clothes to our house to dry (apparently my parents had the dryer in the house...we lived in Eureka, CA, which is very rainy, damp and foggy — not conducive to outdoor line-drying). That was before my time (I came along in 1964), but we still had that dryer for many years after I came along, paired with a ‘62 Frigidaire Custom Deluxe washer.
