Hey Guys, I have a question and looking for help.
I repair washers on the side, but I can’t seem to figure out my washer.
I have a whirlpool duet- top of the line..
WFW97Hedu...purchased in 2015
I bought it in a scratch and dent section. And purchased extended warranty. Keep in mind this washer had a huge dent on the top. At first I thought- it’s in my basement- who cares what it looks like.
3 months into it, the self dosing dispenser quit working.
1 year later the MCU Board quit working.
I did mention to the repair guy that I often get a E03 F08 error code. This happens especially on high water cycles.
When I need to add an item the door will unlock but when I start it again. Much of the water that was in the clothes or towels have exited and sat on the bottom of the tub to trip the pressure sensor for water levels. But the water never goes above the bottom of the door when the error code is going off.
He replaced it, but now it’s happening again.
This last time, I never added an item to the wash cycle.
Do you guys think this is a glitch in the whirlpool duet? Or do you think the problem is deeper?
I’m ready for a new machine. Ps I will never buy a scratch and dent with a huge dent in a washing machine!
