And here we have Mildred. Her washing machine wasn't working right, and so the repairman comes to see what the problem is. The repairman shows that silly Mildred absent mindedly put her box of washing powders inside her washing machine when she was putting away her groceries. Mildred is so tickled at her silly self that she immediately gets on the telephone and calls everybody, telling them about what happened........

There's no way this picture is for real

There's no way this woman could pour fabric softener into the small dispenser hole, while looking straight ahead, another hand up in the air, and not spilling the pink stuff all over the washer. And she can even stand behind her washing machine?

Using a clothes dryer as a hair dryer?

Another dryer option that never took off. Provided the thing actually was available and worked, after it singed the hair off a few ladies, looking like they went to the Lilly Munster beauty salon, the accessory was quietly withdrawn from the market.

My wife told me yesterday that size does matter! She picked the large capacity Kenmores over my Maytags! I`m heartbroken!

Donald, I am soo sorry. My only hope is the 'more inadvertantly rips, shreds something special to her, like mine has done, and will welcome the 'tags back as a daily driver. Of course, as some have stated here, the slighly lesser capacity can encourage even better sorting lol.

I love the old ads....

Even the cheesiest of them show a kind of sunny optimism you havent seen in advertising in at least 30 years - and the illustrations on some of them are masterworks. It's a shame there's not an outlet like that for freehand artists these days.

Does this spell trust or what?
