Although the belts will probably fit, I suspect you will be disappointed with the results at least as far as the two belt Maytags are concerned. Unlike a typical v-belt, the Maytag belts were designed to slip, especially during spin. If the belt can't slip during the initial ramp up, the motor will overheat and trip off as it tries to bring a full load of clothes and a tub of water up to speed.

PepBoys, AutoZone, NAPA....are a valuable asset for replacement belts....not hard to match ones up, or even go wider...
AND....at 1/4 the price of an OEM belt...…. Clutch style belts can be found at Farm and Garden stores, same as used for riding mowers and such.... we have a shop here that has a catalog, for just about any style/type of belt there is...."V", cogged, flat, clutched....take the old one with you, and he can match it up... |
