Well, I finally got the Maytag I got last week hooked up and all cleaned up.

Ran an extra large load with just hot water and vinegar.

The machine seemed to have s hard time getting Luke the last few inches of water drained.

So I advanced to final spin and it drained fine.

Medium size load of water drained fine.

The machine is 39 years old but there is a little more humming from what seems to be the motor.

Agitation and spin is very thorough.

Any one want to chime in please do.

Could probably be the belts. I haven't been using my Maytag A810 washer all that much since the belts are pretty worn out. My Maytag A810 has good agitation, but it takes a long time to drain all of the water out, and I have tried to adjust the tension on the belts, but that doesn't really seen to do anything at all. In the mean time I have been using my Kenmore portables since my Maytag A810 washer needs new belts.
