Wasn't exactly being truthful, as there only remains one.

Wo ist der andere? Willst du es nicht wissen?

Es überquerte den Fluss!

Have not totally forgotten nor gotten over loss of the AEG toplader from Detroit earlier this year. Was one's own fault for not simply hiring a truck and going to fetch oneself. Know someone out there has it and is keeping well buttoned; but the thing was kaput, one must accept one's losses and move on. Aside from undirected evil thoughts towards unknown new owner wasn't much else to do.

Last week while up late having a snack and coffee was scouring local CL to see what there was; when one's eyes came upon that listing in New Jersey.

Gott im Himmel! Another? This one much closer and a newer model. No, shall not be denied again, it will be mine even if it means the death of someone. *LOL*

Went to reply to post and *BLAST* the thing wasn't working. After an hour of trying and doing research turns out CL has made changes to their system with RECAPTHCA. Posted about this in the Super forum but was totally ignored, will put that on back burner for now.

Next day from work was able to contact seller via CL.

Turns out it is the same story as how all of one's German appliances have to us; a family from Germany brought the washers over but now no longer wanted.

Arrangements were made and here one is with this:

Has been a long and exhausting day so haven't bothered taking pictures. Am that tired from moving things about and getting sorted. Must give machine a wipe down, polish then sort out water hose. Previous owner included that Aqua Stop AEG hose which does not work with our faucets, so will need replacing. They even had transit bolts inside drum in original plastic bag.

Glad you got your dream machine.  Wished I could have helped you last fall, but timing being what it was all in all I guess it wasn't meant to be.  Do you think someone here got the machine you were after?

No Worries

Was nice of you to even offer, Matt.

Things happen for a reason, that's what I say. So while one lost that machine, another was sent my way. Probably just as well to have a newer model as parts and whatever likely will be easier to source. Certainly fetching it home was far easier than dealing with Detroit.
