I saw some video of terrific damage in Houghton, MI on the Weather Channel site and am hoping everyone here is OK.

It was bad!

Roads washed out, guard rails ruined, power lines down, boil water order.
Not a lot of money in the UP.
They will need help from the state. Bet they are glad they haven't seceded from the Lower Peninsula like they were considering last decade. Stronger in numbers I say.

Pretty horrendous flooding up in Rockford, IL now.
Roads, rail lines washed out.
Cars literally being washed out of parking lots and deposited in creeks.
One of the hospitals had to be evacuated because water was pouring in. The hospital's first floor is now under 4+ feet of water.
