A few years ago, BBC Two produced Back In Time For Dinner. The concept, simple. Take one family and run them through a decade a week, 40s, 50s, 60s, etc...

CBC here in Canada decided to do it for what North America would be like. Enjoy!

Since I dont have any close relatives left living and those from NB and NS have passed on to. I am the last living one from either side of the family and soooo wished Ma would make supper for me now.

Cool, I always liked those British made "Time Period" house limited series that aired in the U.S. on PBS stations starting back in 2000 or so with 1900 House, and then Colonial House, Texas Ranch House , 1940's House and all the others that followed.

I didn't get to see the original Back In Time For Dinner but the British company that produced those 'house' shows made a very similar series called Electric Dreams that had the same format of a single family that spent a week living in 3 different decades starting with 1970's and ending in the 1990's. Was a cool look at how technology, and all those useful gadgets that came and went within those years, progressed in such a short span of time.

Now if only I had Canadian Internet to watch this online laughing
