hello to all aw members as this ever happen to any members who owns a generation 1 duet dryer turn on the dryer after the load is in but when pressing start dryer drum do not turn and see the sensing light on I supect a fryed control board but if my mom and I decide replacement I am considering the speed queen tr 7 top load washer with matching dryer

I would NOT ditch the Duet washer for the POS Speed Queen... if the dryer is beyond repair (unlikely!) then just get another dryer.

if the dryer is replace the washer will also be replace since my mom and I went a match set

Seriously - don't do it! The Duet will wash circles round the SQ. If you must have a matched set with a new top-loader, go for the new commercial Maytag.

Hello to all aw member here an update on the dryer a service tech has been called will come Wednesday and from a youtube vid that I watch seem the problem is a small trigger switch near the motor that broke will keep this thread updated and post an update once the dryer is repaired

a new update on the dryer the dryer is repaired turns out it was the termal fuse that fry the tech install a new fuse and dryer is now repaired

Did he clean out any lint? The thermal fuse blows for a reason. (Overheating)

Loraine furniture the tech said it was normal use no over heating nothing just the fuse just went out normal since its a 13 year old dryer dating back from 2005 and 2 years ago the dryer underwent a cleanup by the same service tech that repaired the dryer today
