Hello guys welcome to my first ever post on Automaticwasher.org! I wanted to tell you guys that last week i went to a furniture shop that also sells 2nd hand appliances thats called "Refurnish" which is in my local area in Devon in the UK.I went in there to be greeted with a sight of a Miele of all machines for sale! As soon as i spotted the Miele W5748 in stainless steel i knew i had to get it so i persuaded my mum to buy it but she said i had to get rid of my Whirlpool AWM 1400 but i said to her i wouldn't cuz the Whirlpool has historic value to me so i said to her that i wanted to get rid of her Beko cuz i did not like it. She eventually did a deal with me and that was as long as I pay for the Miele, which cost just £120 + £10 delivery which is so bloody cheap for a Miele, then she would get rid of the Beko. I eventually paid for it and its being delivered this wednesday (27th June) and i cannot bloody wait for it! Once it comes i will do loads of youtube videos of it. Btw the pictures are not mine they are off the internet as i couldent be bothered to take photos by myself. Also if you are on here and have a youtube channel then subscribe to me as i have loads of good content to bring you.My channel is the same name as my automaticwasher account.
Btw here is my update video where i explain about my new Miele thats coming to me soon

Hoped you enjoyed reading this thread and take care! :)))

Congratulations!!

with your purchase on a very well built machine, we have had our machine now for about eight years without a hickup whatsoever, it runs daily as we have two children with a third on its way. So the washing just gets more and more.

It washes flawlessly everyday. Hope you enjoy that washer, very straight foward machine without any gadgets or "flashyness", but it will do it's job everyday.

Regards,

I bought one last year

A w5741 which cost me $15NZD.

Why so cheap? The pcb had died. Great machine but the power button isn't really a power button. Its more of a sleep/wake button.
Personally I would turn it off at the wall to save on power.

My favourite feature is how it swirls and sprays water on the glass when a cycle starts. I'm guessing when it has an express 20 cycle it does this?

Look forward to your future video(s).
Rich

I have had my Miele W4449 for a few years now and it too has worked flawlessly its so easy to use and with its 1600 spin towels don't long to dry. I have a very narrow yard and no real washing line so most washing goes in the AEG heat pump dryer thats above the washer both my appliances will be replaced with the same again if ever I have to as I just love how Miele have built these machines oh I also have a Miele dishwasher it too is simply brilliant so best of luck hope you don't get bored with it lol

I would like to thank you all for the good replies on this thread. Mieleforever ill start with you first. Mieles have always been reliable machines and also familly friendly and rarely have any hiccups. your Miele i think will last another 10 years as they are designed to last 20 years:) Richnz Glad you got a Miele that extremely cheap, shame about the dead PCB board tho and i do agree with you that my favourite thing about it is when the water fills through the glass :) and finally Ozzie908 i 100% agree with you that ive picked a winner and Mieles have always been built to last at least 10 years of not then 20 years and even beyond that. I also love the Hydromatic tumbles Mieles do while its on the main wash. Its been nice talking to such nice people as you lot and i acually have the new machine right now i will put another post up on here tomorrow showing you all it. Bye and take care! :)))

Thanks for the YT shout out.

Yep, rmariu is me!

You can reach me here if it breaks down too.

Sorry couldn't help myself. If you leave the door ajar to allow the drum to dry out at the end you should have a long time with that machine. You don't have to have it wide open. A crack will do.

Regards

Richard
