Somebody should grab that

I sell those stoves about as quickly as I get them in for a grand or more. (After a quick tune up of course)

Leave us hope that beautiful range went to a good home, and not fell into the mitts of scrappers.

Probably a business or person who rehabs then sells on vintage ranges made a mad dash. That and or someone else who knew what he was looking at and made a move.

Scrapper got it. I took a load in this morning, it was laying face down, next to the pile.....

Things like that just make one go all to pieces.

Ugh

It’s really a shame. The grates, burners, and knobs would fetch a few hundred on eBay. I generally don’t feel bad scrapping vintage stuff if it’s all used up. Even then I still pull a few parts. That stove looked really good.
