I recently purchased this Easy Spindrier Model 516 machine as a project. Not knowing exactly how much of a project it was going to be. All the wiring and hoses are shot, the motor only hums, and it seems that it is completely frozen. I have taken the motor, agitator, and spin basket off plus the four bolts that hold the transmission on, but nothing seems to budge. I figure I need to take the mechanism apart and clean it but I cant figure out how to get it off of the machine. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I have an option for you. I own the same model machine and it's fully functional. Also, no rust. I'll sell it for $50.00 - you can use it and keep your machine for parts.

The only problem is that I live in Boston. I know nothing about shipping appliances although other members here certainly do. Your best option would be someone who might be traveling from the Boston area to your area and would be willing to take it along to you.

Get in touch with me if this is something you'd like to explore.

David

Look into shipping by Fastenal. Just put it on a pallet and drop it off at your nearest store and the buyer picks it up at their nearest location. Its waaaaaaay cheaper than shipping by UPS or Fedex freight.
