Just picked this up and had an idea. Why not take the control panel and SS basket (and any other needed or beneficial parts) from my dead-in-the water SQ 412 with blown transmission by way of leaky tub seal, and swap them into this?
Good idea or “bad idea Jeans” (see link)?

we have flipped tops and controls panels many times.....

the only thing that I am not sure of your switch out, is the tub opening....are they both the same sizes?....

that lid has looks of the Raytheon built machine...…

just have to do some more investigating if you can do an exact swapout…..

keep us posted

I saw do it! I'm wondering if you could just swap the control panels and call it a day? Not sure how they are wired up tho.

Well first i’m Looking at the Huebesch. It is only 4 years young but is dead in the water. Plugged it in but nothing lights up. Someone tried to bypass the card reader and spliced a couple of wires...I reconnected the wires, and reattached to card reader and still nothing. Is there a fuse on these somewhere? Does one have to have a card inserted first? Suppose I should bust out my volt meter.

In other news, here is a video I found to reprogram and un ”dumb-down” the hot water fill on this machine:

Discussed with written instructions here:
