I just added three great newly found owners manuals to the Ephemera Library if anyone would like a copy...

#1 1948 Westinghouse Laundromat, I believe this is the first model to incorporate the single door.

#2 1956 Frigidaire Imperial Washer manual. This was a special run manual from the main manual which highlights only the 1956 Unimatic.

#3 1953 General Electric Washer and Dryer owners manual. An unusual manual in that it's the use and care guide to both the washer and the dryer.

How cool!  Just an extra vote for the '53 GE washer to be next on the project list (after the Norges, bien sûr!).

Thanks for making these available, Robert!!

I

did use this feature the other day and it was most helpful, on my Westinghouse. Brian
