Is there a typo in "Now You See It."/ "No You Don't." or, is the disappearance so quick that you cannot believe your eyes? I don't remember turnover being quite rapid enough in our 1-18 to cause something added after agitation had begun to disappear instantly, like into a black hole or over a waterfall.

That typo flew out me, too...

 

I can remember the TV ads for these Frigidaire washers - the competitor machine was a fairly overloaded Kenmore Dual-Action washer, IIRC.

They wouldn't have done it with a pair of jeans! Well, with still frames like this I guess they could but in a TV commercial, it would probably have to be longer than 30 seconds!

Even after reading this, I had to see the ad twice to notice it wasn't written "Now you don't"!

At least it was better than the "space capsule" agitator which would actually roll things backwards away from the agitator if they were dropped in after aggravation started.
