Hi, I don't know anything about collecting washers. My father was recently given a washer that looks old to us. It is white and appears to have two tubs. He has it put behind some stuff so I cannot get a clear view. There is a metal plate on the side that says the following (not necessarily in this order):

Easy Spinner
Murray Corp of America
Easy Laundry Services Division
Model SDK
Serial 15557
volts 115
cycles 60

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

hello washortoss

The Easy "Spin" washer you describe might be "worth"
some money to some collectors. It all depends on its condition
and its age. I'm not sure how long that particular brand was in production, but I will guess at least 20 to 30 years.
If you post a good picture other members might offer you some comment on your query. Like in your fathers case some are given away and some are bought for under $50 and some for greater amounts. It mostly depends on how much somebody
desires to own a specific model/year etc. They are still in production in Mexico I believe. The older models are still
somewhat common.

minimal paint/porcelain loss and NO rust are important if you want good money.

You may want to keep it! While they can put out some serious vibration when spinning----they sure can get clothes clean! That Easy "Spiralator" does a great job!

Thanks everyone. I will see what I can do about a picture but my dad's a pack rat and I need to get him to move some stuff.

Easy Spindriers are indeed cool machines but aren't rare by any means and there are still MANY out there. If I were looking at one at an estate sale and it was in good, useable condition, I probably wouldn't pay more than $25-$50 for it.
