Hi Paul ! So...what would it take - what turquoise treasure would it have to be to get you to make a trip like that? Is there anything left you would 'move mountains and cross oceans' to obtain? Hmmm?

Hi Johny!

Well , if a GE SU70 or SU80 dishwasher in turquoise turned up, I'd be willing to move heaven and earth. Of course I'd have to get there before a fellow GE collector in CT spotted it... LOL

I'd probably also jump on a 59 Tappan dishwasher in turquoise; no one else would likely want that...LOL

First off, thanks for posting this and triggering me to realize that I no longer have space (width) limitations for this size of fridge in our new house.  At our previous house, I was limited to the 30" wide model with revolving crispers.

A replacement evaporator fan is probably not that difficult to find, but the shelves that fit above each crisper drawer would be tough to find.

It's not a super long drive for me (3 hours maybe?), but I'm still trying to get settled and the last thing I need right now is something of this size sitting around waiting to be fixed.  Plus, that color would not be my first choice.  White is my preference, as that tends to fool guests about how old the fridge really is.
