I picked up a kenmore elite washer, I was wanting to play around with different agitators. I like the kitchen aid agitators, since they have bigger fins at the bottom. Im aware of NOT using heavy duty option (high speed agitation) since its hard on the transmission. please correct me if I'm wrong. I assume whirlpool made one transmission to fit all.

I tried looking for some online, but they want a whole piece- does anyone have a bottom piece they are looking to sell?

Putting A large finned KA agitator in a KM washer that uses high motor speed for agitation.

You may need to buy the complete KA agitator as not all tops and bottoms are compatible.

The biggest problem with using high motor speed with the KA agitator is possible clothing damage, no one to my knowledge has ever ruined a transmission or any thing else by running the KA-A at high speed, but I think you will quickly find that it is just too much agitation for most loads.

yeah, if you don't know which top matches which bottom piece, your best bet is to buy the whole unit....

they come in turquoise, but I prefer the all white....
