I have a GE washer Model #WWA2250GALWH - Serial # VS1 09729G - It is leaking water and we have determined the water pump has a hole in it. Trying to find a water pump. Any suggestions ???? Pic Enclosed

These are available on eBay; plenty to choose from. They will all fit your machine as this pump was used from the mid-60’s through the end of the filter flow series.

Type in “GE Washer Water Pump” In the search box. Be sure to select one with four ports.

You can also check Repair Clinic & Sears parts. Good luck with the repair.

FYI

I’ve gone through a number of these pumps. Some of the brand new models are quite weak. I have felt that older ones, even used ones, pump a lot better.

Bad GE FF Water Pump

The hole in the pump is not the cause of the leak but rather the water seal has failed, the hole is there as a weep hole to allow tiny amounts of moisture to escape so it does not damage the bearings.

Luckily these pumps are still readily available, A new one will be heat sealed together so it will look a little different than your old one.
