I saw this GE Profile dryer on Craigslist and it seems a bit odd. I can't figure out if this was part of the late GE Profile Filter Flo set or if this was made after the Filter Flos were discontinued. The control panel looks like the last Filter Flos did, but they usually had a touchpad style option selector instead of the separate buttons, and they used the tall recessed handle further down the door where this has a smaller sideways handle.

It's definitely part of the last of the Filter-Flo heritage.

Definitely part of the Filter Flo heritage. I have the matching washer here in Australia 😊😊

I thought all of true Filter Flo washers by then were Profiles. Or were there some that were not named that?

I've always found it interesting that GE used Cycles (plural) in their timer labeling where other brands used the singular Cycle.

matching washers

I wonder if GE did the same cycle variations on their matching washers.

Re: fan-of-fans

I started working in the appliance world in 1995, the last full year for the filter-flo machines. We were selling GE, Profile, and RCA at that time and all of them were available. As the new T-line machines became available in 1996, Profiles were the first ones we were able to get.
