I think I can make out an 'M' in the model number, so yep, this would be a '55!

Not a bad price for that color, even if it needs some work.  Kitchen designers are currently in love with navy blue.  This range is back in style!

That looks like a basement setting in the picture, which would explain the exposed sanitary line.

I go to estate sales and tag sales all over northeast Ohio, tons of old basements have a previous generation stove that's darn convenient around Thanksgiving time. When I bought my 1916 home 20 years ago, it had a 1960's Montgomery WArd Signature electric stove in the the kitchen. Low-end, boring, working, and electric. Yecch. I soon found a 1946 Chambers Gas Range, and the electric stove is extremely convenient once a year, sitting in the basement waiting.
