I would say both machines are pretty much the same, as both are made by Whirlpool.
This is only my opinion.... but personally I think these "commercial grade" machines for "home use" is just marketing BS. Sure they may have stainless steel tubs and an industrial looking control panel, but I would also bet the important bits underneath where it counts, are exactly the same as the normal "residential" machines.
OR... maybe it's just because they have what looks like a "regular" agitator and it can fill with a tub full of water??? Who know for sure. I'm sure someone else will chime in about them. |

Have it right, The Mt Commercial TL washer in addition to what Eugene said has better main seal and mode shiftier + a five year P&L warranty, The commercial WP is a smaller tub and only has a 1 year warranty.
As Nick stated the SQ FL washer is the best washer you can buy in the US PERIOD if you are concerned about reliability, no nonsense performance and very long life in the range of 25-50 years. Nationally SQ has run out of the separate FL washer but still has the stack, here in the DC area there are still three SQ FL washers in the main warehouse as of Thursday. John L. |
