Thanks for sharing!
That Philco is beautiful. Too bad it doesn't work.

Great cookbook.
I'm a little ashamed to say, all I knew of General Foods was International Coffees.

My great aunt had that refrigerator in her home in Walnut Creek, CA...remember seeing it when we visited in 1973. The door-in-door design intrigued me at the time.

Was just in Saugatuck last week

And was at the same antique mall looking at exactly the same things - down to the Philco instruction manual.
I did come home with a Philco radio for $10. Parts piece.
Lots of fun. Didn't stay at the Dunes though. Cabin looks nice.

Philco Fridge

I have one very similar to that one! Mine does work, but is missing some of the shelves, and is not in as nice a condition.

I have that same fridge

For sale, working, and in better condition than that one. I’d like to have that manual!

Yes, those Dunes are the Such Fun!!!!

daveamkrayoguy's profile picture
Long ago, my sister, niece, nephew & late-Mom while she was able to be World's Greatest Grandmother, went to the dunes in Saugatuck, among some of the other great attractions, there...

Riding up, down, and all around in those customized '70's Dodge trucks---oh, where was I, those decades ago?!

Definitely a "bucket list" for me, among others, I hope I can get to see, do & have that $$$$ for (well, even if I were to start vintage appliance collecting, and continue being the hard copy media junkie, I am, maybe?)...

Calico Kitchen

I LOVED the Calico Kitchen!
What was especially fun was the crazy diversity of the crowd having breakfast on a Sunday morning - mostly boys closing up their weekend of fun at the Dunes across the street.

It is now a Thai / Sushi restaurant or similar.
